Eastenders Forty Years Of Drama….And Affairs   Recently updated !

The Love Triangle between Sharon, Grant and Phil in 1994 was apparently inspired by the Tristan and Isolde.  The slow burn of the affair took two years to build and 25 million people watched the sizzling episode when the truth was revealed when a taped recording of Sharon’s confession was played by Grant at Phil’s engagement party.  Triangle stories are big business! Three of the highest grossing movies of all time Gone with the Wind, Titanic and Doctor Zhivago are romantic epics that feature a love triangle at its core.  Love triangles can be incredibly intense and the “being discovered” part can add to the excitement and passion of the situation.  However, who ever you are in the triangle this can also lead to betrayal, inner and out turmoil and to in some cases – lives that are devastated and possibly even destroyed.

If you are coping with a love triangle’s emotional after shock, no matter who you were in the triangle  you probably need a bit of support. Seek support from a friend or reach out to a counsellor or therapist – who can provide a safe space to explore the thoughts and feelings that this situation has bought up for you.  We are happy to give you some support at Take Action Counselling.
